London House was London's official
presence in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games.
The London House was established by the London Development Agency as a venue for the London organisations in Beijing to promote London as a city in which to invest, study and visit.
During the Beijing Games, key corporate, political and sporting figures attended a range of events designed to promote the best of what London has to offer across business, tourism, higher education and the creative industries.
Think London had a presence in
the London House, where we ran a high-quality business programme.
You can read our media releases from
our events in Beijing.
We then continued our presence in China by launching our 'Road to London' initiative in September 2008. We spent three months visiting 11 cities and meeting with Chinese businesses who were interested in setting up business in London. Find out more about our 'Road to London' campaign and which cities we visited.
London House TV highlighted the activities within the London House in Beijing during the Beijing Olympic Games with video clips (requires Flash player to view) and regular updates.
