Think London is the official foreign direct investment agency for London. We are a not-for-profit private-public partnership and the experts on doing business in the capital.
We are hosting a series of exclusive business events in key cities throughout North America over the coming months, as part of our Route to 2012 campaign.
We were in Boston September 17th-18th 2009. The visit included meeting with companies in the Boston area as well as a high profile business dinner:
BOSTON 2012 DINNER
This, by invitation only, reception and dinner was hosted by Think London and UK Trade & Investment. The evening offered insight into the current business opportunities that are available in London within the digital sector including those opportunities around the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.

Speakers
We were fortunate to have the following speakers:
-

- Ben Gallop, Head of BBC Sports Interactive from the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) discussed how being the domestic rights holder of the 2012 Games has impacted their day to day activities. He discussed how their hopes of broadcasting every single moment of every sport through online, mobile, interactive TV and the main channels will lead them to look at new digital technologies ahead of 2012. - Michael Charlton, Chief Executive for Think London, provided insight into the business opportunities around the Games in 2012 and also the legacy post 2012.
