Think London is the official foreign direct investment agency for London. We are a not-for-profit private-public partnership and the experts on doing business in the capital.
We are hosting a series of exclusive business events in key cities throughout North America over the coming months, as part of our Route to 2012 North America campaign.
PALO ALTO DIGITAL BREAKFAST
This, by invitation only, business breakfast was hosted by Think London and UK Trade & Investment. The morning offered insight into the current business opportunities that are available in London including the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012 for companies in and around Palo Alto.
The breakfast also highlighted the opportunities around legacy post the 2012 Games for
those companies wishing to consider the longer term opportunities in London.
We were fortunate to have with us at the breakfast:
- Alex Balfour, Head of New Media at the London Organising Comittee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG), who, via video conference from London, explained how London is positioning itself to deliver the Digital Olympic Games in 2012 and how this provides opportunities for businesses from California.
